Cell Phone vs. Quran

HERE IS A COMPARISON
Subject:

Cell Phone vs. Quran

I wonder what would happen if we treat our Quran like we treat our
cell phones.

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it as we travelled?

What if we used it in case of an emergency?

This is something to make you go ...hmm...where is my Quran?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to
worry about our Quran being disconnected!

Pass this on to everyone you know that has a cell phone. Makes you
stop & think 'where are my priorities?'

Light Upon Light

A BEAUTIFUL SONG

In this world today, there are many ways
To fall from grace, and to go astray
We should realize, that in our lives
We can make a change, for Brighter days
Islam is here to guide us all
To light our ways and break our fall
Allah is here for you and I
Morning to night, He is light
Upon light

Say Ya Allah, my life is yours
My light upon light, to the heaven doors
You are the key, to the paradise
The pleasure and the joy, in the after life
Islam is here to guide us all
To light our ways and break our fall
Allah is here for you and I
Morning to night, He is light
Upon light

Here is the link for the song.

Introduction

Allah's peace and blessings be upon all of you.
In the name of Allah the most Gracious and most Merciful

I welcome all my dear brothers and sisters to this blog.
Here is a site to learn about the most perfect way of living "ISLAM". Insha-Allah I will try my maximum to update this blog. I will add all the contents which I get regarding Islam and all of you can help me to build this blog. Lets learn and share our knowledge.

I would like to share some Hadith regarding knowledge.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The seeking of knowledge The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 74 obligatory for every Muslim." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 74

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “One who treads a path in search of knowledge has his path to Paradise made easy by God…” - Riyadh us-Saleheen, 245

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A servant of God will remain standing on the Day of Judgment until he is questioned about his (time on earth) and how he used it; about his knowledge and how he utilized it; about his wealth and from where he acquired it and in what (activities) he spent it; and about his body and how he used it." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 148

The Prophet also said: "Knowledge from which no benefit is derived is like a treasure out of which nothing is spent in the cause of God." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 108

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "God, His angels and all those in Heavens and on Earth, even ants in their hills and fish in the water, call down blessings on those who instruct others in beneficial knowledge." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 422

The Prophet also said: "Acquire knowledge and impart it to the people." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 107

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, God will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise. The angels will lower their wings in their great pleasure with one who seeks knowledge. The inhabitants of the heavens and the Earth and (even) the fish in the deep waters will ask forgiveness for the learned man. The superiority of the learned over the devout is like that of the moon, on the night when it is full, over the rest of the stars. The learned are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets leave (no monetary inheritance), they leave only knowledge, and he who takes it takes an abundant portion. - Sunan of Abu-Dawood, Hadith 1631

When a man dies, all of his

deeds are terminated except for

three types:

1.an ongoing and perpetual charity he leaves behind,

2.a knowledge given by him from which others benefit, i.e. a knowledge that

continues to be implemented after him and

3.a virtuous son or daughter he leaves behind, who prays for him and asks for

forgiveness on his behalf."

May Allah guide us and bless us with the TRUE understanding of His Deen. Ameen.

Rasulullah(saw) said , "The best of charity is a Muslim who learns a knowledge and later teaches it to his Muslim brother."
